We invite you on a journey of self-discovery. Self-Care has become a buzz-word and yet we want to give you techniques and tools that you can take back home with you – to help you press re-set every day – or even find the space to navigate each day a little differently – with renewed clarity. It’s great to feel healthy space when you are on retreat – but we want you to take that home with you and integrate – find space in your everyday life.
The key to this innerwork is understanding our emotional anatomy – it is an invitation to understand how our bodies are impacted by stress and anxiety and to learn simple techniques through yoga, breathwork and nervous system balancing practices to effect conscious change. The motivating statement of much of our work is from Chaos to Calm – and we want to give you as many tools as possible to do just that.

On my travels
I spent time with a great yogi
One night as I sat in quiet
I seemed on the verge of entering a world inside so vast
I know it is the source of all of us

Our retreat starts on Friday 21st February and we will have a grounding afternoon practice and introduction before a nourishing welcome dinner. We recommend you arrive in Jaipur on at least 20th February – there is a whole travel pack of recommendations and advice for travel and accommodation to download. Our venue is an hour from Jaipur airport – which has regular connections from Delhi, Mumbai and North Goa airport. Again more information available in travel pack. Our retreat will finish after lunch on Friday 28th February….
Close to the magical city of Jaipur and yet an oasis – rolling hills, starry skies, beautiful rooms and an exceptional yoga shala close to Nature crafted from bamboo. Some of these Earthen rooms are elevated for a view -some are more womb-like. All are magical sustainable buildings. The cottages are inspired by the elements – so you can choose from earth (Prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni), wind (vayu), spaciousness (shunya) or be inspired by the moon above (chandrama) – There are also dorm rooms. As well as the beautiful yoga shala, there’s also a special outdoor meditation space. There’s an outdoor eating area with home-cooked Indian vegetarian foods with a little Rajasthani magic… there’ll be campfires and mantras, hikes and time for the birds…
We will explore our relationship to Nature, the elements – a hike in the morning around the beautiful town of Amer visiting both a sacred Shiva temple dating back to the 10th Century and a stunning Krishna temple to hear stories of Mirabei the poetess… There will be sunset walks and morning meditations… If you fancy we’ll take a trip into Pink City of Jaipur and have a rooftop dinner.
We’ve intentionally kept this retreat to 7 nights – so that if you have the time or inclination you can explore Rajasthan at-large or take a trip to Agra… visit stepwells along the way, a sacred lake or a majestic fort – Or maybe it’s a jumping off point to other places in India… There’s a direct flight to Goa if you want some beach time… And if you want further assistance you can request a bespoke itinerary

Bespoke Travel Itinerary from Viriam – In another world, Viriam is an established travel writer and has extensive contacts for organizing adventures and longer stays
We have been travelling around India for over 20 years… and every time we come back to Rajasthan we feel so inspired – the colours, the people, even the quality of light… it’s quite magical and we really look forward to sharing it with you.
We are so excited to have found such a beautiful venue – inspired by the elements – with a stunning yoga shala to be the home for our inner work. It will be an amazing place for us to explore the nervous system and press re-set through yoga and awareness practices.
Having travelled widely we also have some special friends in Jaipur – that will take us on a walking tour, tell us stories of myth and legend. We’ll spot wild peacocks and we might even venture to a place where they make fresh croissants… So you’ll have the opportunity to try local Rajasthani home-cooked foods and have nourishing home-cooked food at our retreat venue… And venture out to find some treats along the way…

Why embark on this inner journey?
If not now, when? We could dub this retreat a User’s Guide to the Nervous System. It’s time to invest in ourselves – learning this inner work from meditation to hands-on techniques that create stability, presence and connection. When we can start to hold the space for ourselves without judgment – we can start to reach out and hold the space for others – it’s time to reach out and connect. This will be an immersion – daily yoga and meditation as well as our themed Be Embodied sessions where we will look at the Nervous System – Emotional Anatomy – Breath … And time to Rest and Digest.
We will weave in our own unique insights from the world of yoga philosophy, ayurveda and embodied anatomy –
We will look at how we can embody concepts from yoga philosophy like Dhriti (fortitude or we like to interpret it as Inner Strength), sthira sukham (how to feel comfortable within ourselves) and shraddha (trust).
To be honest, inner strength, trust and being comfortable within ourselves are good qualities to tap into when we travel around India… Oh and ksama (patience or tolerance!) It is full of magic, but sometimes there are a few challenges. We aim to make the journey as hassle free as possible, but there is also an invitation to you to step out of your comfort zone.
Let’s embody inner strength, trust and compassion both on our yoga mats and in the world at large. Come and explore both your inner landscape and the ground beneath our feet.
with Adam and Viriam
