Online Prana Sadhana

Throughout May we will explore Prana through breath, movement and being. Naturally, we will practice pranayama and breath awareness practices, but beyond that the emphasis will be the embodied philosophy of prana – looking at the 5 Prana Vaayu and the Pranic Body.

Beyond breath….

Prana Vaayus
We will tune into the directional forces of energy within us through the 5 Prana Vaayus. The Prana Vaayus can help us get a sense of roundedness, letting go, uplift, centring, expansiveness and presence…

Pranic Body
our Pranic Body is a conscious container of our energy-  fuelled by the nadis, we could see it as our energy field, electromagnetic field or our aura. When our pranic body is strong, we have good conscious boundaries, we are inspired and motivated, receptive and present – some might even say fearless… If there is an imbalance, we can feel burnt out, fatigue, mental fog and low energy – we can literally feel stagnant or stuck. We will explore signs that our pranic body is under stress and naturally, all our practices will be antidotes.

Our focus throughout this month, will be on recognising energy leaks and bolstering our energy body.

Due to in jury, this series will focus mostly on simple movements, pranayama and meditation.

Sadhana is simply our daily practice…  Prana is our life force. This May, let’s spend time each day tuning into vital energy.
